Joseph A. Rinaldi
Joseph is a senior risk management associate of Montclair Risk Advisors. He joined us after retiring from Motorola, Inc. based in Schaumburg, Illinois, where he was their Director of Corporate Insurance responsible for property/casualty and loss control programs covering all locations throughout the world. He also was on the boards of their captive insurance subsidiaries.
Joseph brings to our practice over 35 years of insurance and corporate risk management experience with manufacturing and technology companies. He became the Director of Corporate Insurance when Motorola acquired Symbol Technologies, based in Long Island, where he had been their risk director for 14 years.
Before Motorola and Symbol, Joseph was the Director of Risk Management at the American Standard Companies in New York City where he was responsible for their global programs.
Joseph began his career as a liability claim adjuster at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. After taking a similar job with the Royal Globe Insurance Companies, he quickly became a supervisor and an insurance policy training instructor.
Joseph has a B.A. in Economics from the City College of New York. He holds General Insurance Consulant and Broker licenses in New York. He was the President of the New York Chapter of RIMS in 1998.
